Emma completed her studies for remedial massage therapy in the United Kingdom back in 2010 and after moving to Australia in 2014, completed RPL for the Australian Diploma in Remedial Massage. “I became a massage therapist because I knew I wanted to help people, I just wasn’t sure how exactly! I thought I wanted to be a school teacher to help children begin their path in life, however after incurring a work related injury, I was recommended to have remedial massage treatment. I had never had a massage before and could not believe how much it helped me. I became very interested in how the body works and I realised that this was my way of helping people, to help them feel better and to get them on a path to a better quality of life.” Since graduating, Emma has worked mostly within a physiotherapy environment and has developed a keen interest in a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders.
