Abby is a physiotherapist with a passion for educating patients in 'how to help themselves'. She graduated from Curtin University in 2005 with a Bsc (physiotherapy) and has worked exclusively in private practice. Her sports physiotherapy experience includes Amateur AFL leagues, WAFL, state soccer and the Hopman Cup from 2006-2014. Abby commenced an extensive Clinical Pilates program in 2006 and has worked in Perth and Vancouver utilising the Pilates method as a form of therapeutic exercise to address musculoskeletal injuries. She commenced the Curtin Clinical masters program in 2012 and completed a research study in 2013 on the effects of Pilates on women post breast cancer therapies. She utilises broad manual therapy techniques including dry needling. Personal interests include yoga, endurance sports and outdoor exercise such as the Perth trail series. Abby is proud to be involved in the clinical supervision for Curtin University Physiotherapy Student Practicums
