Roger attended the University of Melbourne and gained an honours science degree in 1977. During this time he played over 100 games for the University Blues Football Club in the A grade division of the VAFA. Roger graduated from The Lincoln Institute of Health Sciences in 1982 and has worked in private practice for over 30 years. Roger worked as a Physiotherapist for the North Melbourne Football Club from 1989 to 2009 and is a Life Member of the Club. He has been a member of the Board of the Melbourne Collegians Water Polo Club since 2009. His areas of interest include fast track recovery for sports injuries, including shoulder and knee rehabilitation, particularly with runners, footballers, swimmers and triathletes. Roger uses techniques including massage, mobilisation, dry needling and exercise advice to achieve optimum results and works closely with personal trainers and weights coaches to best manage injuries and rehabilitation.
