James has worked in many different areas in the physiotherapy profession, demonstrating his extensive knowledge, experience and interests. In particular, some of his main areas of interest include lower back pain, hamstring injuries, acute and chronic tendinopathies, return to work and return to sport.
Throughout his tertiary studies (Bachelor of Exercise Science at Griffith University and Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University), James conducted research into neuroscience-related exercise physiology, exercise science, clinical markers for the biochemistry of exercise, and musculoskeletal screening protocols for both the Australian Army and the Queensland Police.
Since then James has worked for the Gold Coast Suns AFL Club, three private practices, and a private hospital as a rehabilitation physiotherapist.
