I am a physiotherapist of 10 years clinical experience. I have a holistic approach to practising physiotherapy which includes assessing and treating the individual from a biopsychosocial perspective. Within this framework, I focus on the individual's injury whilst considering other factors such as emotions, thoughts and behaviours, which are all inter-related to result in non-optimal movement and pain.
Over the past 5 years, I have developed an interest in persistent pain conditions, which has led me to pursue post graduate studies in Pain Management at the University of Sydney. This has given me a greater understanding of all factors involved in a person's pain experience and has allowed me to provide a detailed assessment and treatment of all areas involved to rule out any missed contributors to the presenting complaint.
