Jane qualified as a physiotherapist in England in 1992. After two years of working in general areas of physiotherapy, including orthopaedics and sports injuries, she pursued her interest in upper limb injuries. For the next 18 years she worked in the field of Burns and Plastic Surgery, focusing in particular on hand and upper limb trauma. She attained a Level 2 certificate with the British Association of Hand Therapists in 2010.
When she and her family moved to Australia in 2011, Jane trained as a Polestar Pilates instructor in mat work, which she has been teaching since October 2012.
She gained her physiotherapy registration in Australia in June 2013, and now works in the fields of community physiotherapy and hand therapy, as well as continuing her interest in Pilates.
