Sophie Formby is an Optometrist with over 25 years experience. She has owned About Specs since 2017. She works with Mary Kavur and Geoff L'estrange. Both Mary and Sophie enjoy all the aspects of Optometry especially contact lenses, Ocular disease screening and management and providing good advice about your visual needs for work and hobbies. We also see lots of children and check binocular function as well as their vision. Our practice is equipped to see infants and children through to the elderly. No referral is required. If you have a family history of Diabetes, glaucoma, cataracts or macular degeneration, a regular eye examination is important for you and your family. We provide a thorough examination which also includes a digital retinal photograph to screen the health of the eye. Our friendly front desk staff are also trained to help you work out the frame that will suit your face and visual needs. We have a larger range of adult and children's frames than most practices.
