Dr Afshan Rahman Graduated from Dhaka Medical College Bangladesh in 2003. After
arriving in Australia, she has gained over 7 years post graduate experience as a doctor
working in a hospital and GP setting. She has been working as GP with a diverse role in
different rural and outer metro areas. After going through wide-ranging training, she
gained Fellowship FRACGP in 2018.
She has experience working with the aged population and with people from diversified
multicultural background. She also has extensive exposure to skin cancer check and hands
on experience in mole removal in GP setting. As a rural GP she also has practical
experience in dealing with common fracture and dislocation. She is comfortable to cover
all the regular aspects of family medicine including Paediatrics, Obstetrics, Gynaecology,
Orthopaedics, Mental Health issues, minor Surgery and Emergency medicine. Some of her
