Dr Astin Friskin grew up in Cairns, Far North Queensland before moving to South East Queensland to undertake her dentistry degree at Griffith University. After graduating in 2012, she relocated to Sydney, New South Wales to take part in a dental graduate program with NSW Health. She spent this time enhancing her dental skills in various specialties including oral surgery, oral medicine and emergency dental treatment as well as providing dental procedures to patients under general anaesthetic. Astin attends various dental courses and seminars yearly to continue her professional development and stay up to date with new advancements in dentistry. She has been heavily involved in oral health promotion and education. Astin enjoys all aspects of dentistry and takes pride in providing high quality dental care to her patients.
