Dr Stephen Herriott graduated from University of Queensland (UQ) in 1977 with honours(Bachelor of Dental Science) – second in his class.
After graduating from UQ, Dr. Herriott worked as a general practitioner in outback Queensland and then Northern suburbs of Sydney before establishing his own modern practice in the Northern Rivers area of New South Wales. This was a general dental practice with special emphasis in the treatment of children, orthodontics and dental facial orthopaedics, oral surgery, pain anxiety control and aesthetics of the smile. Whilst practicing as a general practitioner, Dr Herriott also studied part-time to achieve by examination a fellowship in the Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
In 1990, Dr Herriott moved to the USA with his family and completed a Masters of Science in Oral Biology, along with his specialist Orthodontic Degree, from the University of Louisville in Kentucky, USA.
