Dr Raisa Tasnim graduated from the Griffith University Dental School, with awards for academic excellence. Originally a Sydney inner-west local, she brings a diverse range of experience to the team, having worked in private practice and as a dental officer for Queensland Health.
With her empathetic and reassuring nature, Dr Raisa has extensive experience in treating patients with dental anxiety. In fact, she finds it very rewarding to be able to alleviate phobias associated with the dentist, in both adults and children alike.
She also shares an interest for cosmetic and minimally invasive dentistry and is committed to keeping updated with advancements in the dental field. As such, Dr Raisa is qualified to administer nitrous oxide aka 'happy gas', veneers, Invisalign clear aligners and provide single-visit crowns via CEREC.
Passionate about improving access to oral health, she has also been a volunteer dentist for Tzu Chi foundation as well as outreach clinics based in Nepal and Camb
