Dr Serina Ma is a specialist Orthodontist and local to the inner-west community. Dr Ma completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Honours) in 2004 and a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics) at the University of Sydney in 2012. Her Doctoral research focused on Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Dr Serina Ma served as a dentist in the Royal Australian Air Force, as a Flight Lieutenant and commanded the dental section at RAAF Tindal in the Northern Territory. Following her military career, she worked with rural indigenous communities in the Northern Territory and Bourke. Additionally she worked in private practice and as a part-time clinical tutor at the University of Sydney in the Oral Surgery Department. Dr Serina Ma was awarded Fellowship into the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the general dental stream and Membership in the specialist orthodontic stream.
