Dr Julian Chan is a graduate of the National University of Ireland, Galway. Having underwent internal medical training in Ireland and in Queensland, Dr Chan has subsequently completed advanced cardiology training at the Royal Brisbane and Prince Charles hospital in Queensland, followed by a 2-year interventional fellowship at the Royal Adelaide hospital. He is currently a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a member of the Royal College of Physicians of United Kingdom (MRCPuk).
Dr Chan’s clinical interest includes adult cardiology, primary prevention, ischaemic heart disease and complex coronary intervention. Dr Chan performs diagnostic coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions at the Calvary Adelaide Hospital which is also the preferred hospital for patient admissions.
